Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center Announces Spring Boutique in the Barn Written by KTMHC
In response to the great success of the 2020 Holiday Boutique in the Barn, Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center is launching the first-ever Spring Boutique in the Barn.
Shoppers have the unique opportunity to browse a variety of items for purchase all while experiencing the charm and craftmanship of the Museum’s historic Carriage Barn. Designed by famed twentieth-century architect and longtime Tavern resident Cass Gilbert, the Carriage Barn dates to circa 1910 and was originally designed to house Gilbert’s horses, carriages, and, eventually, automobiles.
Gift shop manager Margo Mc Eachern encourages visitors to experience the new event: “The Spring Boutique features a wide assortment of wares, with an emphasis on highlighting local creative talent and local stories.” Peruse original artwork by thirteen Ridgefield-area artists, a large collection of historical fiction
