This is abc7 news. A man swiking a swinging a hatchell has swarmed into a theater. The latest on these attacks at public gatherings. Todays attack happened at in antioch, tennessee just outside of nashville. 29yearold montono stormed into a theater armed with a hatchet, pepper spray and an air soft pistol that looked like a real gun. He sprayed several people with pepper spray and one person suffered a hatchet wound. Officers are nearby and responded right away. The suspect raised his weapon toward the officer and pulled the trigger and the officer fired on the suspect and backed away from the theater jie. We heard screams and then a shot. Then awhile after that metro police came in and they escorted us out. Police shot and killed montono.
