A family of Marines is divided after father shoots ailing wife

After raising three kids while her Marine husband was shipped around the world, Pam Kruspe was ready to enjoy retirement. But at age 59, she was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s. Her veteran husband said she begged him to kill her. So he did.

Bill Holton, a lifelong resident of San Angelo TX, was born on June 24, 1952 and passed away on April 10, 2021 in Austin TX. Bill passed away unexpectedly from a brain bleed after undergoing a procedure to insert a heart pump. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Saturday, May 22nd from 10:30 to 1:30 the Pavilion at Kid's Kingdom Park on the river in downtown San Angelo.

Bomb Squad And Hazmat Team Called During Brea Probation Check Syndicated Local – CBS Los Angeles BREA (CBSLA) – A compliance check by Orange County probation officers Thursday led to a hazardous materials alert and bomb squad response. Probation officers were checking on a probationer at a home at 742 Sonora Street in Brea when they saw some hazardous materials and called Brea police at 2:45 p.m., said Brea police Sgt. Chris Haddad. Two people were detained and neighboring homes were evacuated, Haddad said. Anaheim and Brea firefighters responded as well as the Orange County sheriff’s bomb squad, Haddad said. It was not immediately disclosed what type of hazardous material drew the response. Nobody was injured.

Opera singer charged in Mar-a-Lago incident will use insanity defense

WEST PALM BEACH  The Connecticut opera singer charged with driving an SUV toward a barrier at Mar-a-Lago and assaulting a federal officer in January will use the insanity defense in her federal case, court documents filed this week show.  Hannah Roemhild, 31,  is charged with assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon – an SUV –  in U.S. District Court in West Palm Beach. She also faces two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and fleeing and resisting an officer without violence, in circuit court. Attorneys Chris Haddad and David Roth wrote in their filing this week that Roemhild was suffering from a severe mental disease or defect rendering her unable to appreciate the nature and quality or the wrongfulness of her acts.
