Arkansas police are searching for a suspected serial killer thought to have carried out four stabbings. Three of the victims died. The attacks occurred between August 2020 and April of this year. In one of the recent attacks, 43-year-old Debra Walker was stabbed 15 times. Walker survived the attack.
Police Chief Keith Humphrey said the four victims were chosen at random. All of the attacks reportedly occurred between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m.

In the post, she denounced the tactics of Black Lives Matter and asked people supporting the movement to unfriend her.
“Just to let you know they are terrorists,” she wrote in June 2020. “They hate me. They hate my uniform. They don’t care if I die.”
Several fellow Hopewell officers liked Ms. Erwin’s post or offered some support. One of them was Sgt. Mandy Gray, who had recently been promoted.
It prompted an internal department investigation. The police brass took no action, but the Township Committee voted unanimously on April 30 to fire Ms. Erwin. Ms. Gray was demoted and suspended for six months.
Police officers across the country have been fired, demoted or otherwise disciplined for social media posts that voice opposition to Black Lives Matter and violence during racial justice protests.

WELLSBURG The Brooke County Board of Education has agreed to use an app and other Internet-based technology to advertise its schools and programs.
On Monday, the board approved a one-year contract with Mobility 360 calling for the Weirton business to establish an app through which school officials may communicate to parents and others, redesign the school district’s website, create an overall brand for the district and other measures to raise awareness of its schools’ offerings and accomplishments.
