Fashion company Shein is seeking Beijing s nod to go public in the U.S., a decision which could delay its float plans. The Singapore-based company, valued at $66 billion in a May fundraising, filed with the Chinese regulator in November to comply with new listing rules for local firms.
Tesla Inc. will reportedly fix software problems in more than 1 million vehicles, according to China's official market regulator. The software fix is being mandated to reduce accidents in Tesla's automated vehicles, states the regulator.
Chinese social media platform Weibo Corp has been slapped with a 3 million yuan ($470,000) fine by China's internet regulator for repeatedly publishing illegal information. The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said Weibo had violated a cybersecurity law on the protection of minors as well as other laws but did not give further details.
