The PM was speaking in a rally in Chikkaballapur on his fourth visit to Karnataka since the announcement of the poll schedule, hoping to swing votes in six of the 14 constituencies going to the polls in a week. “The message is clear, from Chikkaballapur and Kolar is clear, Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar,” he said. Slamming the INDI-alliance, he mocked them for the lack of a PM candidate, saying they lacked leadership. “The INDI Alliance currently lacks leadership, vision for the future, and their history is filled with scams,” he said.
But, the PM expressed gratitude for the support of women and mothers, which he described as his protective armor enabling him to confront and overcome obstacles.
Congress released its ninth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls, including veteran CP Joshi from Rajasthan s Bhilwara. In Karnataka s Chikkaballapur, youth was prioritized over experience, with Raksha Ramaiah nominated instead of former Union minister M Veerappa Moily. The party continued its candidate announcements, with E Thukaram nominated for Bellary (ST) and Sunil Bose chosen for Chamarajanagar (SC).
