Point Grey Pictures, the production company run by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver, is staying in business with Lionsgate Television. The company has extended its first-look deal with the company. It comes five years after Point Grey signed a deal with Lionsgate.
Lionsgate is bringing eOne’s unscripted assets together with its own non-fiction division after closing its $375M deal for the company. It is launching Lionsgate Alternative Television, which will incorporate its own Pilgrim Media Group, with eOne’s U.S. and U.K.
Sean Perry, the former WME non-scripted packaging agent and partner, has teamed up with one of his former clients after the launch of his own production company. Perry launched 2500 Media earlier this summer and he has now signed a deal with Lionsgate’s Pilgrim Media.
