Scales, who has served as production manager for MSU s theater department, succeeds Alissa Novoselick, who signaled her departure late last year as part of the organization s plan to shift to more representative leadership and had been serving in an interim executive director role. Scales appointment follows a five-month search led by a search committee of parents, teaching artists, staff and board members working with Boston-based executive search firm Koya Leadership Partners.
