For Canada-based Nigerian culture enthusiast Prince Olaniyi Oyatoye, his passion to promote the Yoruba culture is telling. Recently, he took a big leap in cultural promotion for the 2021 Asa day held at the Cultural Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State. The event was to promote the Yoruba culture and tradition and also make huge efforts in exporting those cultural ideas to the global world.
Explaining the reasons for his cultural exploits, Convener and President of Asa Day World Wide Inc.Canada, Oyatoye said the outfit is a non profitable organisation that was established purposely in order to promote Yoruba culture across the world, adding that previous events had been held twice in Canada.

Towards driving awareness of online security among secondary school students across Nigeria, Teens Can Code has embarked on a new initiative tagged “Virtually Safe” that would provide a wide range of resources to help young users stay safe online.
As part of its plans to reach a sizeable population of students, Teens Can Code is working with partners and volunteers to reach over 300 schools through a National School Tour.
The campaign will touch three out of the six geo-political zones across the country. Some of the activities outlined by the organisation to help it connect with the students are Online Safety Art Challenge, Online Safety Debate Competition, Online Safety School Clubs, and the launch of a dedicated website http://www.virtuallysafe.org

World class dental service provider, Smile360 Dental Specialists, has again emerged winner of the Dental Service Provider of the year after clinching the award five consecutive times.
The firm received the award at the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Awards (NHEA) ceremony, which was held on Friday, June 26, this year at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.

A Lagos State High Court, sitting in Lagos, has restrained former President and Member, Board of Trustees of the Balogun Business Association (BBA), Chief Okey Ezeibe, from interfering in the association’s affairs.
He was also restrained from forcefully taking over the secretariat, assets, funds and properties belonging to the trader’s association. Others who were restrained and sued along side Ezeibe as defendants were Chief Alex Obi – Odunukwe, Chief Ifeanyi Okwuma, Chief Ikechukwu Obiora, Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, ACP Halilu, Area Commander, Area ‘E’ , Command, FESTAC, CSP Tolani , Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Trade Fair Complex, Lagos.
