The state government has constituted a committee headed by the state s chief secretary to finalise a fresh plan to distribute vaccines in the third phase in an equitable manner, the public relations department official said.

Representative Image ANI | Updated: May 05, 2021 13:43 IST Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], May 5 (ANI): Chhattisgarh High Court on Wednesday asked the state government to fix a reasonable ratio of allotment of vaccines to the Antyodaya Group , persons belonging to below poverty line and persons belonging to above poverty line , with reference to all relevant aspects. The court directed the state government to have a discussion with the Secretaries of the relevant departments and fix the ratio of allotment of vaccines and distribution of vaccines in the third phase of vaccination for the 18-44 age group in an equitable manner. The Centre on April 19 had announced a liberalised policy, making all above 18 years of age eligible to get vaccinated from 1 May.

SC extends time to surrender for Chhattisgarh prisoners released on interim bail, parole ANI | Updated: Jan 01, 2021 16:29 IST New Delhi [India], January 1 (ANI): In a temporary relief to nearly 5,500 prisoners in Chhattisgarh, the Supreme Court has extended the time to surrender for prisoners in the state who were released on interim bail or parole during the COVID19 pandemic. A bench of Justices Indira Banerjee and Aniruddha Bose extended the time to surrender of prisoners till January 6 or until further orders of the court and also issued notice to the Chhattisgarh government. Permission to file the Special Leave Petition is granted. Issue notice, returnable on January 5, 2021, before the appropriate Bench. Time to surrender is extended till January 6, 2021, or until further orders of this court, the bench said in its order while granting temporary relief who were released on bail or parole as per the directions of the High Powered Comm
