On Sunday, the 55th Chess Festival Biel opened in the Congress Centre in Biel. To kick things off, the Chinese top grandmaster Yu Yangyi gave a simul. Today the GM Triathlon begins with the Fischerrandom Tournament, at 13:00 local time (7:00 ET, 11:00 UTC). Three of the world's best U18-players start: V. Keymer, N. Abdusattorov, and D. Gukesh.
