Nymphenburg Palace was the venue of an international rapid xiangqi tournament on September 9. As part of the festive event, Xiangqi Grandmaster Sun Yongzheng gave a simultaneous exhibition against ten opponents. The exodus of Russian chess players continues. In 2024 Alexandra Kosteniuk will play for Switzerland.
