At a hearing in this room several months ago, i heard one of the commissioners say the district has a target on its back. Pot our community is feeling pressure of unaccount be development for some time and were here before you today because we have solutions and we need your support. They had a neighborhood strategy and one of the clear recommendations that emerged from that strategy process was to create a housing plan for the neighborhood. One that would consider the incomes of local residents that would account for displacement that is occurring in our neighborhood. Two years later, the housing plan has not happened and so we are stuck responding to market rate after Market Rate Development at the same time that Affordable Housing projects weve advocated for have met delay after delay. Team over the last two years have left. 11 out of 15. So when our colleagues leave, we ask the general lift to absorb those patients, carry their own panels and continue to see these patients. I dont know how we can do that. I know you know because we all have Family Members that work at kaiser. We are all members of kaiser. We all get treatment at kaiser. I know you know this and i wish our employers would too and do something about it. Lastly, i think i just want to add that our program has been expanding for the past few years. It used to be a program for teenagers. We are seeing 7 and 8 years old in our program. That is not okay. I have a 10 year old. I dont want my kid to end up in this place. They are not getting more sick. They are just not being seeing. I want that to be very clear. Our youth are not getting more sick. They are not being seeing and treated for mild anxiety adjustment, mild depression. Social skills, things like that. And so they end up getting worse and worse a

I think its really not only sickening whats going on at kaiser but its clinical. They have committed to provide Mental Health care to clients, their members, they are not doing it. Frankly, the reason they have a board of supervisors with contempt because they are not being held accountable. What i think it means is this board of supervisors, if you are serious, to call on the San Francisco District Attorney to investigate the prosecution of kaiser for fraud. They are committing fraud on the people of san franciscans. They make promises and they dont carry them out and institute an investigation and criminal charges against the executives of kaiser for committing these acts of fraud which have led to the deaths and suicide of the patients who didnt get care. Its requiring the federal law to require from state law and they are just ignoring it. If
