Prior to Google introducing their all-new Pixel Fold tomorrow at their I/O developer conference keynote tomorrow, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially granted Apple a patent today that relates to a folding iDevice that includes a layer with self-healing properties.
Earlier this morning, Patently Apple posted a folding device report titled "Apple invents a unique lighting system for Foldable Devices that implements separate brightness controls for the 2 Display Halves." Today, Thanksgiving Day in the U.S. the US Patent & Trademark Office published a patent relating to self-healing folding device displays that could hide minor scratches and dents.
