The DAV group of schools has clarified that certain wordings in an English question paper were that of a teacher and they did not reflect the views of the institution. This comes after many including Congress MP Shashi Tharoor demanded an answer from the school, over a question regarding the Farm Law protests which took place in Delhi on January 26. The English Language and Literature question paper dated February 11 was part of the second revision exam for Class X.

Chennai: A school in Chennai have become much talked about on social media after their Class X question paper went viral.
According to reports, referring to farmers who protested against the farm laws during the Republic Day tractor rally as violent maniacs in its question paper.
The phrase was used when the school management asked the students to draft a letter to an editor , as part of the English Language and Literature paper in the second revision exams held at DAV Boys school.
