Over the course of the pandemic, we've had to bid goodbye to many eateries. One of the casualties was popular hawker stall Chelabela: Korean Food by Korean Chef, which announced their closure in May. Fortunately, they've found a new home at a coffee shop in Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 and will be back in business on Aug 11. [embed]https://www.instagram.com/p/CSOoj9jHvAx/[/embed].

Marsiling 136 Korean: Chelabela, a family-run hawker stall which gained a swell of popularity during the circuit breaker period last year, will be closing on May 30, the daughter of the owner announced on Facebook on Sunday (May 23).
But the closure is not for good. In her post, Chela Suh, 23, highlighted that her father has plans to reopen in a new location with a new menu, as well as delivery options.
The Suhs are currently still on the hunt for a new location, she said, asking hawker-savvy netizens to leave her their suggestions.

Closing on May 30
Unfortunately, the stall will be closing soon. Their last day is on May 30, 2021.
While Chela cited in a Facebook post that the recent no dine-in rule implemented as part of Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) was one of the reasons that led to the impending closure, there were other, more pertinent reasons too.
