The first generation of the reintroduced cheetahs in India may have to be monitored for their entire life, said Cheetah Conservation Fund founder Dr Laurie Marker.
Some people are, however, optimistic that once the Kuno National Park becomes famous for its new entrants, increased tourist footfall will create jobs.
As per the earlier plan, the special plane carrying these animals was to land in Jaipur from the African country, from where they were scheduled to be flown to the KNP.
