App State’s Scholars with Diverse Abilities Program celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. It will begin offering a four-year program option in fall 2023.
A donation from App State alumnus Dr. Ed Rankin ’79 and his wife, Thuy Le, will help fund an annual speech therapy camp on campus for adolescents who stutter.
Dr. Maggie Sugg, in the App State’s Department of Geography and
Planning, received an NIEHS grant to study the impact of climate disasters on mental
health.
App State broke ground on the first phase of its Innovation District, to include the Conservatory for Biodiversity Education and Research, on March 25.
