So we are pleased that the book tonight focuses on both our northern terminus and southern terminus. You will hear a little bit about gettysburg, which is our northern terminus, the most northern part of the National Heritage area. And of course, you will hear a little about charlottesville as well. If you we often talk is head out monticello jeffersons driveway you are driving on the scenic byway. And you are driving 180 miles north to gettysburg. Which is the other end of the National Heritage area. And within that 180mile plot of land, we have 11 sites. Of course, monticello, madisons home in montpelier, brent will talk about these places. Airport brought air traffic to a halt. According to investigators, the fire was intentionally set. But they stress, it was not an act of terrorism. This is a local issue with a contract employee and nothing else. Reporter but it is a National Issue as travelers across the country wait. Im really tired. I want to go home. I want to sleep. I get to get to my destination. I want to lay my baby down. Reporter understandable frustration as passengers navigate long lines and huge crowds to get to their final destination. Right now they are operating under whats called a reduced rate operating system. That means theyre letting a few flights in and a few flights out. So you can bet that a lot of flights are still cancelled this evening and most of them are delayed. Definitely all passengers are going to have to pack their patience. Hello. Im bruce johnson. The fiveweek search for Hannah Graham may be over tonight. Authorities discovered human remains on an abandoned property outside of charlottesville around noon today. Police have notified the missing uva students parents. It will be up to the medical examiner to establish positive identification. But police say the Hannah Graham case is now a Death Investigation. Surae chinn joins us now from charlottesville, where people are reacting to this Major Development tonight. Reporter bruce, there seems to be a cloud over charlottesville tonight. People are sad, not really wanting to talk about the latest development about this potential huge break in the case. Hannah graham went missing here at the pedestrian mall, a very popular place where lots of students hang out, visitors hang out and come to see around the campus. Shes been missing for 35 days. The remains, although not positively identified, many people believe they are those of the missing uva student, Hannah
Way to determine if the remains are those of graham. Well go live to Albemarle County for the latest developments. Tom . Scott, as we await those results out of richmond, there was a lot of activity near where these remains were found, even today. If you look behind me around the property of the Albemarle County Police Department just outside the city of charlottesville, if you went down that road about eight miles, thats where these remains were found. The more you go down the road the more rural it gets. Eventually you even lose the double yellow line in the mid feel the road and it becomes a very narrow road and gets very wooded, very out of the way. It was in that area where those remains were found yesterday. Here is video of some of what went on today.
