A CAKE-MAKING mother and daughter duo have been putting their skills to the test to raise money for charity. Emma Wallis, of Maldon bakery Lottie and Jake’s Scrumptious Cakes, is hosting an Easter workshop on Tuesday, March 30 from 2pm. The fundraising event is part of Farleigh Hospice’s spring crafts. The tutorial will teach budding bakers how to make cute chicks and colourful Easter eggs out of fondant icing which can then be put on cakes or cupcakes. Emma will even share the secrets to her special buttercream recipe.
