WooSox Tickets: Worcester Red Sox single-game tickets for June to go on sale May 24, group tickets May 18

Single-game tickets for the WooSox’s two June homestands will go on sale Monday, May 24 at 10 a.m., the Worcester Red Sox ball club announced Tuesday.
The announcement of single-game tickets for the month of June comes after Governor Baker’s office announced Monday it would lift the state’s remaining COVID restrictions and capacity limits on May 29.
Starting Tuesday, May 18, groups of 15 or more can start booking their outings for the entire season by calling the WooSox front office at 508-500-8888 or emailing ticketoffice@woosox.com. Group outings begin June 1, the start of the second homestand of the season, and can be purchased for any game thereafter, the ball cub announced in its release.

The Worcester Red Sox revealed the jerseys and hats the team will wear in Worcester when the WooSox officially move to the city in 2021.

The Worcester Red Sox announced the revised schedule for their inaugural season Wednesday afternoon, confirming that the season will be shortened from 142 to 120 games. Worcester will open the year on May 4 in Syracuse and host the first game at Polar Park on May 11 against Buffalo.
The WooSox were originally scheduled to start their season on April 6 and host their home opener a week later but Major League Baseball is pushing back the start of the Triple-A season by a month. The new schedule, which is still subject to adjustment due to potential future health precautions, is still scheduled to conclude on Sept. 12.
The Worcester Red Sox will host the first Polar Park Job Fair on Saturday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb. 21 in order to recruit local potential part-time seasonal personnel.

The diamond at Polar Park looks like a baseball field with grass in the outfield, three bases, a pitchers mound and home plate.

A couple dozen baseball players, who are expected to take the field at Polar Park in less than three months, draw the most attention with the arrival of the Worcester Red Sox. But beyond the diamond, the organization still needs to assemble a small army that will deliver the day-to-day ballpark experience for fans.
