In the scott wiener london breed legislation that cleared authorizes the puc to sell express hetch hetchy power in the city to make money and Bring Clean Energy to the city. Originally when that legislation was drafted in july it did not include making cleanpowersf a priority customer of that power, and thankfully advocates approached supervisor wieners aid and they graciously included an amendment that makes it clear that yes cleanpowersf is in the queue by that power and that is very important. Even if cleanpowersf buys that power at full retail rate there are benefits from that because it helps we were discussing the wind power, solar power doesnt happen to be working and you have hydro power there as well in the mix and balanc

There were a lot of take aways for myself, and i mean, that it was nice and comforting that we had really the largest con tining ent and i felt like we were in San Francisco, even though we are in brooklyn and it is one of the boroughs that are larger than San Francisco and it was interesting to hear some of the streets and the pedestrians itself and the message that they are trying to get across is that the human beings make the mistakes and pedestrian ans will make the mistakes and they can be distracted and we should Pay Attention to that. And one of the things that was interesting, was the opening sort of keynote address, in which the professor there talked about streets in a very different way, and just prior to i guess, in the maybe, in a 1920s or so, and the streets were, quickly changed because of the auto industry. The legislation from last may and the Department Planning issued the 6 months report and ma documents what i have been telling you in our meetings and as of right now we have legally permitted two out of a total of about 85 or 86. Applications. And we have had about 1100 public inquiries. And some of the issues seem to be in planning, where there are certain requirements that must be met such as planting streets and meeting the landscape requirements and possibly environmental details of the report. We expect more to be approved but it is a time consuming process, but you may recall that the ordinance requires that for the first three years of this ordinance provide six months status reports with the planning.
