“There was so much happiness in people. After so many months without the sacraments and prayers in churches, they were able to come, visibly happy with great participation”.
Mumbai (AsiaNews) – “Christmas was wonderful. Emmanuel-God with us, God came to dwell with the little people of Kandhamal, Jesus was born for us,” said Father Prados (

AsiaNews.
“The celebration of Christmas in Riakia was impressive. Despite COVID and government rules, people participated devoutly and joyfully in the liturgy on Christmas Day,” he added.
Although the afternoon sun beamed, he appeared tired.
âThe other night on one of the news channels, they said, âItâs only been eight months since we lost our first,ââ said Chuck, 64. âI thought, âYeah, tell me about it.ââ
He used to walk the grounds of Mount Olivet Cemetery in Key West, Iowa, only periodically â to visit the gravesites of his parents, in-laws and niece.
As Chuck entered the golden years of his marriage, he could not have fathomed that his wifeâs gravesite would be added to his solemn circuit.
Kathy Davis was two years Chuckâs junior. Newly retired, she looked forward to waking up in the morning and putting on cozy loungewear.
