Ayrshire charity: Sir Tom s £45k gift will help cancer patients

CAPTAIN Sir Tom Moore has gifted Ayrshire Cancer Support £45,000 in his legacy fund. The inspirational captain raised £33 million for the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Appeal by walking up and down his garden, capturing the hearts of the nation who wanted to support his fundraising effort. And Ayrshire Cancer Support was one of the charities chosen to benefit from Sir Tom’s legacy fund. Now, the charity wants to celebrate Sir Tom’s efforts by asking people to follow in Sir Tom’s footsteps and take part in Walking In Hope, in his memory.
