He also was the one that went to the excom group, the top advisers to the president , and said we cant be like the japanese, we dont believe in sneak attacks. Were not going to kill a whole bunch of cubans in some sort of big raid on cuba and kill a lot of russians. Were not that kind of country. So hes a moral compass. Thats the reason. And righ
