The Town of Dennis annual Town Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, at 1 p.m. at the Wixon Middle School, 901 Route 134 in S. Dennis.
There are 30 articles on the Town Meeting warrant. The biggest allocation would appropriate $67.2 million to the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District, including $17.6 million through tax assessments and $600,000 through debt service, for a total assessment of $18.2 million.
The Dennis Finance Committee is also recommending a $39.4 million FY 22 operating budget, plus supplemental appropriations to the FY 21 budget for the Dennis Fire Depeartment ($268,000) and for snow and ice removal ($62,000).
