Road improvements are more than a year from being complete.(Tom Fox / Staff Photographer) A $17 million construction project along North White Chapel Boulevard in Southlake is more than a year from being finished. The road-widening project is underway and the current phase of the construction is estimated to take six to seven months, according to the city. The entire project is scheduled to be finished by spring 2022. Chapel Downs Drive, adjacent to Carroll High School, has been closed at North White Chapel Boulevard and traffic is being rerouted to Ascot Drive while drainage installation commences.
