Suspect in 3 Cincinnati homicides still in critical condition

The man wanted in connection to the shooting deaths of three people in Cincinnati is still in critical condition three days after being shot during a confrontation with Detroit police, officials said.  Chandra Moore, 55, is still listed as being in critical condition at a Detroit hospital, Detroit police Sgt. Nicole Kirkwood told The Enquirer on Thursday afternoon.  Moore is wanted in Cincinnati for murder and felonious assault. Cincinnati police say Moore shot five people, killing three, including his wife Brittany Wagoner. She was 28. Police first received a call to the 3600 block of Idlewild Avenue Sunday at around 6:40 p.m. for a report of a shooting, officials said.

Ohio News Mar 3, 2021 DETROIT (AP) A man suspected in three slayings in Ohio was critically wounded during a Monday morning shootout with police outside a motel near downtown Detroit, authorities said. Chandra Moore is wanted in the fatal shootings in Cincinnati of his estranged wife and two men, Cincinnati police said in a news release. Moore, 55, also was accused of shooting and wounding a 51-year-old man and a 17-year-old male. Detroit police officers were watching the motel where Moore was believed to be staying when he exited about 9:50 a.m. Monday, Detroit Police Chief James Craig said. He said police went to the motel after receiving information that Moore was there.

Their father, Tommy Wagoner, was shot several times and is currently in critical condition, according to a cousin. The Enquirer is not naming this family member at his request, because he said police have warned that the family could be a target of retaliation. Lt. Steve Saunders said police cannot explicitly tell family members not to talk to the media, but detectives often advise it. Our focus right now is on the family, the cousin said. Brittany was a victim of domestic violence. The male relatives said you re not going to do that to our family.
