Now, last night when we had the fires in the vallejo area getting close to 80, caltrans was avoiding trucks to avoid that stretch of 80. They could use 580 through oakland. That is no longer the case, so those restrictions are back on. Youll have to stick to 80 and interstate 880 if you are in a semi here and heading out on the roads this morning. Westbound 580 tracy to dublin up to one hour two minutes. We do have a crash just before 680. Ill talk about that necessary. Westbound 4 antioch to aun cord in the yellow at 28. And 101 san rafael to San Francisco looking great at 18 minutes. Firefighters continue to battle nearly a doze
This is where the firefighters have drawn the line, if you will, with this dozer line. They have made tremendous progress on this fire today. Now, 25 contained. Still, there is some concern about winds picking up this evening. Firefighters high above calistoga on mt. St. Helena continue to battle back any flames that dare stlthreaten to across highway 29, the demarcation lines have established to knock down the tubbs fire. Right now, the fire is backing into highway 29. We want to keep it on the north side of highway 29. Were making sure in the switchbacks we keep the heat out because a slight chance in the wind will blow the fire back over the road. In the meantime, helicopters hovered overhead, making water drops on the ridge to the west of the highway near the summit. And near Robert Lewis Stevenson state park. All of the efforts above have not been lost on the residents below in downtown calistoga. Like this family, which left a message and snacks in front of their evacuated home.
Da lin pen the day with some search and recovery teams going through the difficult task of sifting through some of the burnedout buildings. Reporter indeed. Those search and rescue teams were given known addresses of the missing people. Right now theyre making targeted searches over at journeys end mobile home park. And here the Fountain Grove neighborhood. Earlier today they recovered the bone fragments of a missing person. Reporter this was the grim task for searchers and investigators. Scooping up whats left of a person into a body bag this afternoon. Search and rescue crews found the humane remains in a bag. The human remains in a bag. The person was asleep or bedridden. It happened so fast, and theres nothing you could do. Reporter the recovery happened at journeys end mobile home park. Searchers were checking two known addresses of two missing people. So far theyve only recovered one missing person in this park. Theyre still trying to locate the second person. If we can identify

He tells me that teams are now at a location where they may have just discovered the remains of five more people and waiting to get some confirmation.
