⺠Ferrari board to name successor soon
Ferrari has confirmed that Louis Camilleri has retired as the brandâs CEO and as a member of the board due to âpersonal reasons.â
While no further details are provided as to why from Ferrari directly, Bloomberg reports that Camilleri was hospitalised due to coronavirus but also reports that this âwasnât the main reason for his exit.â Executive Chairman John Elkann will step in as acting CEO.
Camilleri replaced the late Sergio Marchionne after his passing in 2018 and, during Camilleriâs tenure, Ferrari has revealed the SF90 Stradale and Spider, the Portofino M and the Roma to name a few fresh models, along with some bespoke creations.
