No One Injured After House Fire In Gregoire

By Jaryn Vecchio No one was injured from a house fire in Gregoire. Shortly before 12 p.m. on Monday, firefighters were called to Greenway Place after getting reports of smoke coming from the windows. Several individuals were in the home but were able to escape before crews arrived. The blaze was put under control around an hour later. The RMWB says the house was significantly damaged, while no neighbouring properties received any damage. The fire department plans to monitor the property throughout the evening for potential hot spots.

During the summer, 18-year-old Daksh Patel was searching the Wood Buffalo Volunteers website and discovered Mary’s Meals – a non-profit aimed at helping the less fortunate across the globe. He ended up reaching out to five of his friends who wanted to help out and after trying to think of a way to raise money, they started a bottle drive.
