Maybe measuring the rainfall in a few hundreths of an inch and were seeing some of the showers moving through concord and also over towards britwood as well. Going into the rest of the day, well see some more of the showers as we go into this afternoon and into the evening. There may be some times where you see the rain coming down, and then you turn on the windshield wipers and before you know it its gone. Main moving in tomorrow, and it looks to bring at least measurable rain for the bay area, and it starts to move in during the evening as the winds pick up. Friends say she knows her way around the water and they dont know what to make of her disappearance. She is is kind of a free spirit, so she may have gone for a kayak ride late that evening by choice. Reporter Sausalito Police dont want to assume the worst. After a night out with a friend bar hopping a bit, ashley wells kayaked out to the boat her friend lives on, then took the kayak to get to the boat she stays on, a a few piers a a few piers away. From the location where she would have gone inlet maybe 200 to 300 yards. Reporter wells never made it and the kayak that looks like this one has not been found either.
