India News: Railways has reduced the ticket fare for MEMU and express trains to the pre-Covid level of Rs10. The fare of travel in all local passenger trains is likely to be 40-50% less. Pune division and Solapur division have already brought down the fare. The Consumer Protection Council in Tamil Nadu has condemned railways for continuing to collect higher fare from passengers by converting passenger train fares into special express.
