Officials say he saw the fire grabbed the fire extinguisher and tried to put out the flames but couldnt. He ran to a neighbors home suffering from second and third degree burns. Transported to Washington Hospital center as a burn unit priority one burn patient, second and third degree burns. Pretty serious. Critical condition. Fire investigators believe the fire started here in this front room in an electrical outlet and if you take a look here inside you can see the fire spread not only here to the first floor but to the second floor as well. Im just puzzled by it. Neighbors say the man is a long time resident of the townhouse community. Neighbors describe him as a father, a man who is quiet but friendly.
