I get to work very early in the morning and i was driving on interstate 880 and you could see a glow from the sky. Everyone in the east bay was able to see it. It you could see flames. The battle for those firefighters, tip your cap to them for containing that area. No one hurt. It was a sixalarm fire that is now fully contained that happened at a residential building under construction near emeryville. Here well give you a live look at what is left of this six story apartment complex, the structure that originally caught fire this morning. It burned so hot that it spread to those townhomes just next door, and it also threatened so many other homes nearby. Towering flames lit up the Early Morning sky in the east bay as this fire raged out of control for hours. Whoa a loud bang coming from this construction as well.
