However the pavement is a little bit below freezing. Here are the current pavement temperatures. Most of the pavement temperatures in virginia including 66 and 95 are a little above freezing. They did not gets a much rain there yesterday. So most of that pavement is dry there. However, right around the beltway, its right near freezing and 95 down to around 31 degrees. So is interstate 70. The icc between 270 and 95 read temperatures only 29. And the road temperatures at 31 from interstate 270 up through frederick and then between frederick and hagerstown is right near freezing, as well. So the moisture that came on through, freezing up on area roads, even though the air temperatures are generally above freezing in the 30s right now and its going to stay very cold here for another hour or two. The group is gathering for what will be an hourlong protest at sprawl plaza on the berkeley campus. They will then move to 14th and broadway in oakland at 1 00 p. M.
