That includes restaurant workers, who are considered to be in Philadelphia’s 1b phase of essential workers. Advocacy group Save Philly Restaurants Coalition wanted to step in to help. The group partnered with Centennial Pharmacy Services, located on Delaware Avenue in Fishtown, to vaccinate hundreds of people in the restaurant industry. “On a personal level, I want to see my parents. I miss them,” said bartender Mary Wood, who spoke to NBC10. “I haven’t seen my mom since I drove her home from heart surgery last February. I want to see things get back to normal, and I think that we’re almost there.”
