New this morning a pedestrian was killed last night in Johnson County near the interstate 380 and 80 interchange. This is a live look at traffic there this morning right now, vehicles are moving without any trouble but last night it was a different story. Story. Right now, authorities dont know what the man was doing walking along the highway. At this point, no names have been released and its still under investigation. The linn county sheriff says the 44yearold man was driving a pickup truck towing a flatbred trailer when he drove in front of a Freight Train sunday. Plan on a quiet thursday with lots of sunshine and highs rebounding back to around 70 degrees. The wind wont be quite as strong as the past few days, but still notable out of the north. Overall, the weather pattern remains dry, but more clouds are expected for tomorrow and saturday. Due to the clouds, these days will be held down into the 60s for highs. Next week, a warming trend continues to be on track with widespread temperatures into the 70s. Little fog as well take a look at whats happening down south along i80. 49 degrees around that williamsburg area. Tempings on the board looking at 49 in waterloo, cedar rapids, and dubuque. Those winds are calm. 4 l to 8 miles an hour this morning. Satellite and a redar, we do see a few little clouds down around southeast and very southern parts of iowa, but thats about it. But the rest of us are clear. Some of the fog we are running into is around dubuque this morning. Now, the planner, upper 50s at 9 00 with plenty of sunshine. Mainly sunny at noon 68 and partly sunny this afternoon. Thats kind after a brief ka pechlation of what we can plan on today. The big story of the week is more rain and cooler weather.
