Appeal after man struck in the face in Wembley by a stranger

On Monday, February 15 at 4.15pm a husband and wife were walking on Fernwood Avenue when an unknown man approached the couple and struck the man in the face. The victim, who is in his 40s, fell to the floor from the impact of the blow, Scotland Yard said. The suspect ran off in the direction of Chaplin Road, closely followed by the couple, who initially attempted to pursue him.

For me, what started as light-hearted, comedy, and  fun morphed into a broad spectrum of education about animals. Laughter with animals is the most potent medicine ever. Unintentional, innocent behaviors are the best. Over a year, a quick-fix activity has blossomed to an appreciation of animals throughout the world and their respective cultures. Early on, my focus was on cute puppies and kittens. YouTube.com videos were a treasure trove of viewing delight. One of my favorites is “Hogan’s Adventures.” He is a large, mastiff puppy with a digitally-animated  talking face with a sweet young girl’s voice. In a Southern drawl, he spouts philosophies on the absurdities of life to his mama. He shares life lessons we all need.
