The rich diversity of cultures and ethnicities was on vibrant display for the annual Cultural Heritage Mass of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, April 24 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul. Archbishop Nelson Perez, joined by clergy from many parishes, celebrated the Mass. Preceding the start of Mass was a procession of flags representing the numerous communities proclaiming their ethnic and Catholic religious heritage. The celebration is sponsored each year by the archdiocesan Office for Pastoral Care for Migrants and Refugees, led by Sister Gertrude Borres, R.A. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
