One year ago today, hamas militants launched an unprecedented multipronged attack on southern israel, descending on communities close to the border, killing 1,200 people, including 46 americans, and taking more than 250 hostages back to gaza. Kids, and babies, moms and dads, grandparents, soldiers, people in their homes, people at work. People at a Music Festival.
