Tuscaloosa StoryWalk Rescheduled
The Tuscaloosa StoryWalk has been rescheduled. Originally planned for April 10th, 2021, the event will now take place on April 11th, 2021. The announcement was posted on the Tuscaloosa StoryWalk s Facebook page, with the threat of severe weather being the reason for rescheduling.
In a press release earlier this week, the University of Alabama assistant professor said, “It s a great way to get the community motivated about healthy lifestyles, nature, and literacy. I also thought this would be a good way to get my students involved in the community - a way for them to learn about important community issues regarding health, nature, and literacy; enhance their civic skills and values, and find personal relevance in the work.”

PARA says agencies are eligible to receive the Agency of the Year award once in a five-year period and PARA was recognized with it previously in 2015.
