years old. a lot going on here that s important. joining us now from st. louis, with more, is reporter casey nolan in the local nbc affiliate. casey, tell us what you re seeing and the background you can provide. reporter: well, what we are seeing is a bit of a pause in an otherwise active march covering at least five miles since 7:00 p.m. central time. here in st. louis, the protests have been kind of ad hoc in the neighborhoods and sporadic and seem to gather here. i ll show you more. this is central west end neighborhood in the city of st. louis. people tell you it s a high-end neighborhood. high-end residential neighborhood. things of that nature. and the message here a couple of different a message? reporter: hang on a second. a couple of different chants to summarize tonight, one was get out of the bars, get into the streets.
all right. reporter: she chants, they react. the audio was an issue. also, there was a gun in the car. that prosecutors said the officer planted and he said they had dna evidence to prove that. the judge, the judge didn t buy it. casey nolan from the middle of the protests as we ll monitor as a scene there in st. louis, thank you. we ll check back as events warrant. i want to turn the page to a big story. two developments in the russia querrey, the first a witness speaking outside of bob mueller s grand jury room and the other is tonight a new report that suggests mueller got some kind of grand jury related search warrant for facebook as i was discussing briefly with rachel. let s start with this issue. paul manafort spokesman spending time before the grand jury speaking presumably about something to do with the manafort work and relationship, that is president trump s former campaign chair and subject in the bob mueller investigation.
