Thomas Moore, also 42, was stabbed once in the neck during an argument with Matthew Constantinou over the debt owed to Mr Moore s friend Ricky Marshall in October last year. During the trial the jury heard a 999 call Constantinou made to police at 11.26pm on October 2 last year after he returning home following the fatal  attack. Matthew Constantinou has been found guilty of manslaughter after Thomas Moore was fatally stabbed in North Walsham in October last year.

Constantinou will now be sentenced on May 20 after being convicted over the fatal stabbing of Thomas Moore on October 2 last year.

Constantinou said he was in shock and grabbed a baseball bat from the garage and started swinging it to scare them. During the struggle that ensued on Constantinou said Mr Moore, who was trying to grab the baseball bat,  looked like a man possessed . He said he felt scared and told how he did not want to let go of the bat as he would be in line for an absolute beating . He noticed a knife drop and grabbed it in one hand while still having hold of the baseball bat in the other. Constantinou said he was involved in a tug-of-war with Mr Moore and described trying to push him away before he went quite limp .

Thomas Moore, 42, went with his friend Ricky Marshall to retrieve cash he said he was owed by Matthew Constantinou. Norwich Crown Court heard the pair turned up at Constantinou’s address, a bungalow where he lived with his mother in Antingham Drive, North Walsham, to get the cash back.
