This is the tagline of a winery I embraced many years ago at The Mooring. And since we have been in the southern hemisphere, I thought it appropriate to introduce you to this Chilean Winery, Casa Lapostolle.
It is a relatively new winery, starting in 1994 by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and her husband Cyril de Bournet. You might have figured out that Alexandra’s family created that wonderful liqueur, Grand Marnier many years ago, 1880 to be precise. The family has a history of products they have created over the years in France, but for today we will look at their winery in Chile which in a very short time has garnered a terrific reputation for producing great wines.
