ALMA Northland Christian scored six runs in the top of the first inning Monday during a 15-3, five-inning road win over the Santa Fe baseball team.
Sophomore Carter Dalton smashed a three-run homer and freshman Jake Day added a two-run double during the Trailblazers fast start.
Freshman John Winkler doubled in a run and three more scoring on freshman Dontae Burchs dinger in the second. The Chiefs got on the board with senior Drew Schmidts two-out single in the second.
Northland wasnt done, though. Junior Joshua Hudson walked, stole two bases and scored on senior Colt Smiths single in the third, freshman Seth Martin cracked a solo shot in the fourth and Hudson tripled in a run and was one of two runners plated by a Winkler double in the fifth.
