One day after the Massachusetts state champions eliminated Concord Little League with a decisive victory, Middleborough punched its ticket to the Little League World Series with a 10-1 victory over Bangor, Maine, in the New England Region Tournament.
The Bangor 11-12 All-Stars won the State Tournament on Saturday, July 30th and will advance to the New England Regionals to be played in Bristol, Connecticut beginning on Saturday, August 6th.
