(Harrisburg, PA) Former Penn State star running back Ki-Jana Carter is being sued over the production of surgical masks. Carter’s ByoGlobe LLC is accused of taking two-point-four million dollars from Penn State Health without providing a single mask. The suit claims Carter told Penn State Health he would provide 400,000 masks from China and deliver them by April 15th.

While both Pennsylvania senators voted in favor of a $900 billion coronavirus relief package, neither sounded overly enthusiastic about it. There s a lot I don t like in this package, but the good outweighs the bad in my view, says Republican Pat Toomey. He says the bill is necessary to stimulate an economy harmed by the pandemic. Democrat Bob Casey said the package is nothing more than a band aid. The economic trauma that is here now will be with us for a good while and I think warrant a lot of attention and a lot of policy response, Casey said. The Senate approved the package in a 92-6 vote.
Twenty-Two State Hospitals Receive COVID-19 Vaccine
(Harrisburg, PA) Twenty-two hospitals around Pennsylvania are receiving doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The Department of Health announced that over 30-thousand doses were sent to hospitals in the state yesterday. Some of the hospitals to get the batch of vaccines were Penn State Health Milton South Hershey Medical Center in Dauphin County and Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Cumberland County.
