HIBBING â The tunes of Bob Dylan, complete with one-man harmonica accompaniment, filled the air outside the Hibbing High School on Saturday afternoon, as close to 100 people gathered to pay tribute to the schoolâs most famous graduate.
Lyrics to many of the iconic singer/songwriterâs songs will soon be etched into a rounded half-wall in front of the school near the intersection of East 22nd Street and Seventh Avenue East, also known as Bob Dylan Drive. The monument will also contain a bronze chair to complete the spaceâs intended purpose â a place where people can sit and âget to wonderingâ about the many ways Dylanâs musical career has influenced their lives.

Pretty on the Inside, but was mostly known up to that point because of singer Courtney Love s marriage to Kurt Cobain. But there was no mistaking the chops of Hole after
Live Through This was released.
There have been misconceptions about the disc over the years as some assumed
Live Through This was a reference to Cobain s death, which actually occurred just a few days prior to the album s release. In reality, the title was derived from a quote in the film
Gone With the Wind and struck a chord with Love, who had been under all sorts of media scrutiny over her relationship with Cobain and her pregnancy thanks to an article in
The Hibbing Branch of the American Association of University announced its January Future Collegians. AAUW is a powerful advocate and visible leader in equity and education through research, philanthropy, and
