Overnight in new york city, in times square, there were thousands of people marching. In harlem we heard of a scuffle between police and protesters, a scuffle that resulted in some arrests. And in los angeles we heard of a march that turned violent after protesters started throwing batteries and rocks and chunks of cement in one area and then they blocked traffic on a freeway. Were told the lapd responded by throwing bean bags at demonstrators. And michaela, this is exactly what leaders here in sanford, florida and around the country have said they did not want to see.
